Earlier today on The Morning Shift, Ali Mac, Mike Johnson and Beau Morgan explained why they think Sunday night’s matchup against the Baltimore Ravens may be a game where the Atlanta Falcons have to rely on quarterback Michael Penix Jr. and the passing game more than Bijan Robinson and the running game.
“There’s gonna be a moment when you have to rely on Mike [Michael Penix Jr.], and I don’t know when that is, it might be this week though” Beau Morgan said
Through the first four weeks of the season the Ravens have the 10th best rushing defense in the league giving up right at 100 rushing yards per game. This Ravens defense will have the game plan and the personnel in place to possibly slow down Bijan Robinson, Brian Robinson, and this Falcons rushing attack, so Kevin Stefanski, Tommy Rees, and Michael Penix Jr. better be ready to turn to a more pass heavy attack on offense if the Ravens rush defense is able to slow down Bijan and the Falcons running game Sunday night.
