With the 2025 NFL Draft happening later on this month, the “experts” continue to weigh in on the paths that they believe NFL teams will go down to achieve success. ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr. is one of the most notable draft experts around, and in his latest mock draft, he lays a pretty realistic path for the Atlanta Falcons that leave them with a pretty elite defense.

Round 1 sees the Falcons take Marshall linebacker Mike White, who shot up draft boards during the combine, when several viral videos surfaced of White bull-rushing opposing offensive linemen. This pick makes a lot of sense, as there may be upheaval by Falcons fans if they do not draft much-needed pass rush in the first round. In round 2, Kiper has the Falcons taking cornerback Benjamin Morrison out of Notre Dame, another much needed position for the Falcons, despite recently resigning veteran Dee Alford. Abe Gordon and Beau Morgan discuss the Falcons draft further, and an interesting first round pick that Mel Kiper Jr. has the division rival New Orleans Saints making, that could help shape their future.
