After being shut out by the Carolina Panthers, something had to change for the Atlanta Falcons offensively — and it did, both on and off the field. The mid-week firing of WR Coach Ike Hilliard and OC Zac Robinson moving to the field may have made all the difference as the receivers woke up, Michael Penix played his best game of the season, and the Falcons run game broke out leading to a 34-point explosion in the win over the Washington Commanders.

The Falcons want to be a team with a dominant run game and explore big plays in the pass game off that, and it's exactly what happened on Sunday. Bijan Robinson and Tyler Allgeier combined for 33 carries and two touchdowns while allowing Penix to throw for 313 yards and two more touchdowns (London and Pitts). The Falcons will now head into an off-week looking to continue building off a much-improved performance that has them looking towards success once again.
