The Falcons added six players in the 2026 NFL Draft, and while Day 2 names like Avieon Terrell and Zachariah Branch have dominated early headlines, one late-round pick could prove just as impactful. Sixth-round selection Harold Perkins Jr., a linebacker out of LSU, brings intriguing upside despite slipping down draft boards. A breakout pass rusher as a freshman, Perkins Jr. became a favorite of The Midday Show hosts Andy Bunker and Randy McMichael, even as questions lingered about his usage in Baton Rouge and the injury that dented his stock.
