As the Atlanta Falcons continue to interview candidates for their head coach vacancy, there has yet to be any indication as to who may be considered the franchise’s top choice for the position, however, there is some speculation former Cleveland Browns head coach, Kevin Stefanski, could be the team's primary target, especially with John Harbaugh no longer available.
On Friday, 92-9 The Game’s Carl Dukes and Mike Bell were joined by Ken Carman of 92.3 The Fan in Cleveland, Ohio, to discuss why the relationship between Stefanski and Browns soured and what the Falcons, who interviewed the former Cleveland head coach on Sunday, and would get in Stefanski should they hire him.
“He’s a much better team first person than anybody wants to give him credit for,” Carman said as he explained why he believes if the Falcons hired Stefanski, the decision should not be considered a bad one. “I you were to hire him, I think you’re getting one of the finest guys I’ve ever come across in the NFL and I think that he’d be somebody that if you’re able to turn it around, I think that he’d be a major part of it and I think he be a coach you’d be proud to call your coach,” Carman said of Stefanski.
