Earlier today The Morning Shift was talking about which returning Atlanta Falcons players will and/or need to take the biggest jump this season, and they explained why they think Falcons outside linebacker and edge rusher Jalon Walker needs and probably will take a massive jump from year one and have a massive sophomore season.
“Year two for most edge rushers, pass rushers, is a big jump. I think that James Pearce probably benefitted a little bit from Jalon Walker and I'm not saying it’s not vice versa, so to me Jalon would be the one that takes the jump.” Beau Morgan said
Jalon also dealt with some injuries all throughout last season, so with a full off-season to get healthy, having continuity by having Jeff Ulbrich back as his defensive coordinator, and just being more comfortable with being an NFL player overall there’s no reason the former first round pick can’t have a massive sophomore season.
