It hasn't been a story-book start to the career of Marlon Davidson, the Falcons 2nd Round pick in 2020, but if you listen to him, that's about to change.
Davidson has just one sack in his first two seasons, playing 19 games total across those years since he was drafted, and as he suggests that this season is going to be different, former Pro Bowler Hugh Douglas is buying into his comments.
"He gave me goosebumps, and there's only a few players that when I hear them talk I believe what they're saying. So, when I looked at Marlon I saw the same thing," says Hugh Douglas. "I believe in the young man and I'm going to believe in him until I see something different. We've heard guys get on stage with that bravado, this guy is slimmed down, it sounds like he's on a mission."
