Mid-round running backs Falcons should target

The Atlanta Falcons have many positions to fill ahead of the 2022 season. One of those question marks includes at running back, especially with the future of both Cordarrelle Patterson and Mike Davis being up in the air.

With limited cap space, the Falcons will look toward the draft to fill their offensive backfield. Who are some of the mid-round running backs Atlanta should keep their eyes on?

Emory Hunt, NFL draft analyst for CBS Sports HQ, joined the Midday Show, gave a handful of guys that Falcons should target in the middle rounds of the 2022 NFL Draft.

"Jashaun Corbin out of Florida State is a phenomenal tailback in my opinion," Hunt told Andy and Randy. "He has the vision and the footwork that marries together--that allows him to be his own blocker. You'll see him just make things happen three to four frames ahead of a defender, and he's always able to get there...He sees it out there real time, field level."

"You can keep an eye on Tyler Allgeier out of BYU. Another one of these guys, like Zamir White, that I feel like plays the Pro game. (He was) very productive at BYU. I think he's flying under the radar in terms of guys that are getting talked about a lot in this running back class."

"This is another class that is deep...It's a great year to need a tailback because you can get any type of player you want out there in the backfield."
