Its that time of year again. We are on the cusp of football's regular season return, which means one thing. Its time for fantasy football. More specifically fantasy football drafts, and whether you are in PPR, non-PPR, or Dynasty leagues, there are some gems on this Falcons' roster that could help you win it all this season.
Brian Gebhardt and Beau Johnson, host of the 2 Dudes Same Fantasy Show, spoke on Sunday to discuss which Falcon has the best value and who they would be targeting for their teams this season.
Guys like Kyle Pitts, Drake London, and Tyler Allgeier were brought up but the Falcon that could provide the most value is one who burst on the scene last year, Cordarrelle Patterson.
The ten-year vet, who was used in a hybrid WR/HB position last year, totaled over 1,100 all-purpose yards and 11 touchdowns. Brian Gebhardt spoke on Patterson saying, "he was very productive...and he has that versatility...you can start him at the flex Week 1."
Patterson's current ADP(Average Draft Position) is the ninth round. For a player who won't see as large of a work load as he did last year, but still provides that flexibility and will be one of the main weapons for the Falcons this year, its a great value pick.
One thing to note, first-round rookie wide receivers have been dominating the league the last few years. Of the 11 wide taken in the last two years, five finished with at least 900 receiving yards and five touchdowns. Drake London could be an addition to this trend.
