For the longest time it appeared the Falcons should be married to taking the best pass-rusher available when they pick at No. 15 overall. As the draft draws closer, however, there are arguments being made for the team to take a different route. Some experts have the team going cornerback and others even have the team daring to take another offensive piece in the first round.

By almost all accounts, it appears UGA product Jalon Walker will be off the board when the team makes their selection. If the team is not as high on a Mike Green out of Marshall or fellow Bulldog Mykel Williams there will be several other tantalizing players to take. In his latest mock draft, NFL Network insider Daniel Jeremiah has the team selecting former Michigan cornerback Will Johnson.

The team still has needs at all three levels of the defense including a starting nickel back and more help on the interior defensive line. Edge and corner also remain strong needs so a pick like Johnson could make sense after the team inked former 49ers edge Leonard Floyd to a one-year $10 million deal.
