NFL free agency will officially start in mid-March and the Atlanta Falcons will have many decisions to make, both on the free agents on their roster and on the many big names that will be looking for a new home around the league.
On the offensive side of the ball the first piece of the puzzle for the Falcons will be can they keep Pro Bowl WR/RB Cordarrelle Patterson?

In the backfield, it is unlikely that RB Mike Davis will return for a second season with the Dirty Birds.

On the defensive side, LB Foye Oluokon, will be a highly sought after player after leading the NFL in total tackles in 2021.
With so many questions and so many potential holes to fill, what will the Falcons do when the NFL calendar season begins on March 16.

When Nick Kayal addressed some of the rumored players to be available this upcoming off season, Nick was quick to give his opinion on a few big names.
In the case of Giants’ RB Saquon Barkley, who could be on the trading block, Nick says, “No, thank you!”
“Haven’t we learned to not bring in RBs that are damaged goods from other teams?” asked Nick when addressing the internet rumor that the Falcons might be interested in Barkley.

One other rumor that has been talked about plenty over the past week is the status of Cowboys’ WR Amari Cooper.
Nick once again had a very hard stance on the possibility of Cooper joining the Dirty Birds.
“I have no interest in a receiver that has probably seen his best day’s pass” said Nick when summing up why he hopes the Falcons don’t consider signing Cooper if he is released by the Cowboys.

So many questions, so many opinions, and so little money that the Falcons will have to spend when the market opens.
