CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Chicago police found an alligator, several guns and drugs on Monday during a search of an Albany Park home on the Northwest Side.
No further details about the search were immediately available.
Last month, an alligator was captured in the Humboldt Park lagoon after a week-long search that captured the attention of the city and made national headlines.
A few weeks later, two brothers posted a video to Facebook claiming to have found a second alligator in the lagoon. They were arrested after police began to question the legitimacy of their find, but were released from custody pending further investigation.
That investigation was still ongoing as of Tuesday morning, police said.
