
CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Mayor Lori Lightfoot is clearly hoping Chicago could earn a fifth star on the city’s flag when it comes out of the COVID-19 crisis.
There are, of course, four red stars on Chicago’s flag right now, each with historic significance. They commemorate Fort Dearborn, the Great Fire of 1871, the 1893 Columbian Exposition and the 1933 World’s Fair.
Recently, Mayor Lightfoot has mentioned the possibility of a fifth star. Did you notice her recovery plan for the city has five phases?:
