CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) – Usually, when the Bears play a postseason game at Soldier Field, it's in icy weather.

Despite the mild temperatures, the Bears are still getting chilly before facing the Eagles on Sunday.

Ice sculptures saluting the Monsters of the Midway popped up in four locations around Chicago on Friday: near Wrigley Field, Union Station, Pioneer Plaza and Millennium Park.

The sculptures were created by artists from Nadeau's Ice Sculptures in Forest Park.

Company owner and founder Jim Nadeau told WBBM they put them all together in just a few days. The sculptures are expected to last a few days but then, Nadeau says, they hope to make more if the Bears stay alive in the playoffs.

Fernando Arriola is Vice President of Fan and Brand development for the Bears.

"The coolest thing about this playoff run has been the fans and the city have been expressing different ways of their fandom. And this is just is one way the Bears want to reciprocate for the city and the fans that have been so good to us," he said.
