BARRINGTON, ILL. (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- A Barrington bakery delivered treats Sunday to local hospital workers dealing with coronavirus.Ambrosia Euro American Pâtisserie Owner Debbie Rivera said she was overwhelmed by the generosity of customers who donated to the Meals for Heroes.Her goal was to send over about 50 individual boxes of treats to Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington but the response was so great they're going to deliver 375.Cookies, muffins and croissants filled the first 125 boxes that went to the Barrington hospital today.The bakery will deliver more on Wednesday and Friday this week.
