CHICAGO (670 The Score) -- One week before their regular-season opener, the Bears are expected to hold out 32 players from action in their preseason finale against the Panthers at Soldier Field on Thursday evening.

Bears coach Matt Nagy continued his trend of choosing to preserve the health of his team's starters and key players in the exhibition slate, instead simulating game-like action in a practice structure.

The Bears will hold out 19 players on offense: Ben Braunecker, Trey Burton, Tarik Cohen, Rashaad Coward, James Daniels, Mike Davis, Taylor Gabriel, Ted Larsen, Charles Leno, Kyle Long, Bobby Massie, Anthony Miller, David Montgomery, Cordarrelle Patterson, Allen Robinson, Adam Shaheen, Mitchell Trubisky, Cody Whitehair and Javon Wims.

There are 13 players being held out on defense: Prince Amukamara, Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, Leonard Floyd, Kyle Fuller, Eddie Goldman, Akiem Hicks, Eddie Jackson, Khalil Mack, Bilal Nichols, Roy Robertson-Harris, Buster Skrine, Roquan Smith and Danny Trevathan.

Kickoff between the Bears and Titans comes at 7 p.m. CT from Soldier Field.
