(670 The Score) -- The Bears traded into the No. 155 overall slot in the fifth round of the NFL Draft on Saturday, then selected Tulsa defensive end Trevis Gipson.

Chicago dealt a 2021 fourth-round pick to Minnesota in order to move up.

Gipson had 15 tackles for loss and eight sacks for Tulsa in 2019. At 6-foot-3 and 261 pounds, he projects as an edge rusher.

NFL Media draft analyst Lance Zierlein previously compared Gipson to current Bears defensive lineman Roy Robertson-Harris.

"Gipson isn't NFL-ready yet, but he's a potential diamond in the rough as a long-limbed defensive end in odd or even fronts," Zierlein wrote.

The Bears still own the No. 163 pick in the fifth round, and they have two selections in the sixth round and two more in the seventh.
