CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- The body found in a burned-out car near Gurnee has now been positively identified as a Milwaukee teacher missing since Saturday.
The Lake County Illinois Sheriff's office says the burned body has been identified as 56-year-old Kathleen Ryan.
The body was found in her car, which had been burned, and the vehicle was found near a private residence in Warren Township.
"The coroner made positive identification through dental records."
Lake County Sheriff's Sgt. Christopher Covelli says investigators are trying to wrap up the investigation into how Ryan died.
"Based on the facts and evidence at this point, we do believe this was an isolated incident. We don't have reason to believe there's any cause for alarm to the general public."
Kathleen Ryan was supposed to meet one of her sons on Saturday afternoon in Mundelein.
The burned car was found that evening.
