CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- A documentary video went live on the Facebook Watch platform Wednesday morning regarding the 2001 disappearance of the Bradley sisters, who were 10- and 3-years old when they disappeared on Chicago’s South Side.
The great aunt of Diamond and Tionda Bradley, Shelia Bradley Smith, hopes something comes out of this.
"I am very excited about it because what makes this different is that Facebook, it's Watch platform has the capacity to reach over four billion users, unlike the traditional TV," Bradley Smith said. "A lot of people don't watch TV, but a lot of people look at their cellphones."
The girls disappeared 19 years ago, while their mother was working. They had left a note saying they were going to the store.
Bradley Smith said she does have some optimism.
"You keep it up because you know there is a part of your hear that is missing," she said. "That's a family member. There's always a void in your soul."
She said she has a picture of the girls on her nightstand and talks to them every day when she get up and prays that this will be the day.
