WEST CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- A West Chicago woman is searching for the bride in a vintage portrait she found at a thrift store.

Tucked behind a print in an old wooden picture frame she bought at the Goodwill store in St. Charles, Jessica Barone found a black-and-white photo of a bride, possibly from the 1940s or 1950s.

She describes the picture of a young woman seated in a long wedding gown holding a bouquet of flowers with long white gloves as "stunning" and says it has held up very well over time.

She originally bought the frame to repurpose and sell at the Prestige Creative Markets in West Chicago, where she has a shop.

Now, she wants to find the woman in the picture or her relatives and return it to them.
