
CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- The Lightfoot Administration is going online in hopes of making the case for settling the contract dispute with the Chicago Teachers Union and avoiding a strike.Mayor Lightfoot on Monday said a page on the Chicago Public Schools’ website, titled “Our Offer,” will give the public a chance to see what she says is the generous salary offer CPS has made to the teachers. It also addresses teacher demands for more counselors, nurses and librarians in the schools.
