(670 The Score) The Bears' schedule is set for 2020 regular season.
Chicago opens at Detroit on Sept. 13 and closes the regular season by hosting Green Bay on Jan. 3. In between, the Bears will play four primetime games.
Following a disappointing 8-8 season in 2019, the Bears have hopes of contending like they did in 2018. Chicago's headlining moves were the additions of veteran pass rusher Robert Quinn and quarterback Nick Foles in March.
Here's a look at the Bears' schedule and a prediction for each game -- because it's never too early to start prognosticating.
Week 1: Bears 20, Lions 9
Division foes kick off their season with an old-school NFC North game. The Bears' defense frustrates Matthew Stafford inside Ford Field. As the starting quarterback, Foles -- yes, you read that right -- will lead the Bears to a win.
Week 2: Bears 28, Giants 7
The Bears will frustrate second-year Giants quarterback Daniel Jones and contain star running back Saquon Barkley in a comfortable win inside Soldier Field in their home opener.
Week 3: Bears 30, Falcons 24
The Falcons will be a much-improved team, but the Bears pull through on the road.
Week 4: Colts 21, Bears 18
With Philip Rivers at quarterback, a tough Colts team will ascend to being a Super Bowl contender -- and handle the Bears at Soldier Field in this matchup.
Week 5: Buccaneers 28, Bears 24
Tom Brady is 5-0 in his career against the Bears. He'll continue that perfect streak with a victory in Chicago on a Thursday night.
Week 6: Bears 27, Panthers 17
Even with Christian McCaffrey starring in their backfield again, the Panthers should be the NFC South's bottom dweller this season. The Bears handle their business on the road.
Week 7: Bears 21, Rams 17
The Bears and Rams were the class of the NFC in 2018 before regressing in 2019. The Bears will pull through in this tight game on the road, getting to quarterback Jared Goff like they did in 2018.
Week 8: Saints 34, Bears 31
Even at 41 years old, Drew Brees is still one of the best quarterbacks in football. New Orleans will win a high-scoring affair along the lakefront.
Week 9: Titans 19, Bears 17
With Derrick Henry still in the backfield, the Titans will once again be a tough matchup. Tennessee pulls out a close game against Chicago in Nashville here.
Week 10: Bears 16, Vikings 7
The Bears have had the Vikings' number in recent years. That will continue when the two division rivals meet at Soldier Field.
Week 11: bye
Week 12: Packers 24, Bears 16
The Packers haven't been kind to the Bears in last decade. And so long as Aaron Rodgers is quarterbacking Green Bay, it will be difficult for Chicago to leave Lambeau Field with a win, as is the case here.
Week 13: Bears 31, Lions 17
Matt Nagy's offenses have had their way with Matt Patricia's defenses, and that will be the theme again when these two teams square off at Soldier Field.
Week 14: Bears 20, Texans 14
A team doesn't get better by trading DeAndre Hopkins. Deshaun Watson and the Texans don't have enough to beat a Bears team led by a strong defense at Soldier Field.
Week 15: Vikings 17, Bears 14
A defensive battle between two division rivals goes to the home team in Minnesota.
Week 16: Bears 38, Jaguars 9
The Foles revenge game in Jacksonville will be a landslide win for Chicago.
Week 17: Bears 23, Packers 20
Eddy Pineiro wins the regular-season finale with a game-winning field goal at Soldier Field, lifting the Bears into the playoffs as a wild-card team.
Bears' final regular-season record: 10-6
