CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) – More than 500 people turned out in Englewood this week for a job fair.
A Christmas baby is what 25-year-old Dimero Anderson and his girlfriend are expecting. The girlfriend is working, but Anderson needs a job to help care for his son.
"I have things he needs before he gets here. I want to have at least some things situated for him,” Anderson said Wednesday.
He says it's hard to have the patience for the job hunt: "The waiting game. To keep trying. That's the hardest thing. Waiting and waiting for someone to call you back. Or trying to stay focused to call them."
"No pressure, no pressure," jokes a potential employer.
"He needs all the help he can get," laughs Anderson's sister-in-law, Angela Davis.
