Meet The First Babies Of 2020 Born In Chicago

EVANSTON, Ill. (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Danasia Butler is the first baby to be born in Chicago in 2020 so far. 

The baby girl was delivered at 12:06 a.m. at Swedish Covenant Hospital, weighing  5 pounds, 9 ounces and 18.9 inches.

Her parents are Tierra Sharon Reed and Darion L Butler. 

So far today, Swedish Covenant has had three New Years babies and we've heard five reports so far of other babies born on this day around the city and suburbs.

Sutton Lainey Domont is Illinois' second New Years baby so far. She was born at 12:16 a.m. to parents Ivy and Zack Domont of Glencoe at NorthShore Evanston Hospital, coming in at 6 pounds, 8 ounces and 20 inches long.

Phillip Benjamin Brown was born at 12:58 a.m. at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago to parents Stephanie Travis and Benjamin Brown. He weighed 6 pounds, 14 ounces and was 19.5 inches long.

Advocate South Suburban Hospital in Hazel Crest reported its first baby at 4:37 a.m. Adaiya Denise Epps was born to Diedra and Anthony Epps. She weighed 7 pounds and 11 ounces and was 20.5 inches long.

At Northwestern Medicine Prentice Women's Hospital, the first baby was born at 1:59 a.m. Sloane Jade Gertler weighed 8 pounds, 2 ounces and was 20 inches long.
