CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Automakers in the U.S. market will report second-quarter sales on Wednesday and experts say the quarterly result will be closely watched to see how the industry's recovery is progressing amid the pandemic.
And as more people return to work, Ford has unveiled a new pickup truck.
The automaker said its new pickup is built for getting things done and will be available at the end of this year.
The new F-150 will feature a new look said to be “bolder and tougher” and an all-new interior that provides more technology and storage.
Pickups have been hot sellers in recent years – with more people using them as the family vehicle.
Ford has not yet released a price for the new F-150 but said they’ll be doing so soon.
Forbes magazine reported that based on unofficial, monthly sales reports, U.S. auto sales bottomed out in April and rebounded somewhat in May.
