CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- A popular Ravenswood diner that was caught up in a court fight a decade ago is for sale.
Glenn's Diner on Montrose near the Brown Line has quietly been for sale for about a year, according to the wife of the owner, Debbie Edick, who basically manages the place.
At age 59, she says she needs some free time and would like to have weekends off.
"Do I want it to close? Yes. They are copying everything I did, but they're not doing it well,” he told WBBM Newsradio Tuesday. “It's got my name there.
"Do I want it to go away? Yeah."
Debbie Edick said the restaurant is still popular.
"We can still fill the place after 12 years."
