CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Aw, yeah: The CTA "Holiday Train" is coming around the bend.
The transit agency on Thursday released the schedule for the popular yuletide-decked train, which will run on CTA train lines from Nov. 29 through Dec. 23. A street version, the Holiday Bus, will run along bus routes; it debuts this year on Dec. 26.

— cta (@cta) November 21, 2019The Allstate CTA Holiday Train will include Santa and his reindeer riding on a flatbed car. A partner train, the CTA Elves' Workshop Train, will run behind the Holiday Train on Saturdays to accomodate the larger crowds.
The Holiday Train tradition began modestly in 1992, when an out-of-service Blue Line train delivered food to charities, the CTA says.
