LAKE ZURICH (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Fire officials in Lake Zurich are investigating a fire at the village's parks and recreation department Saturday night.
The fire broke out just before 8 p.m. in the Paulus Park Barn at 200 South Rand Road, according to the Lake Zurich Fire Rescue Department.
No one was in the building at the time the blaze broke out and no injuries were reported, according to a post on Lake Zurich Fire's Facebook page.
Paulus Park Barn was used to house the parks department's center for activities and staff offices. The indoor farmers market scheduled for Sunday was canceled along with other events scheduled at Paulus Park Barn this week.
