CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- For the third year in a row, a group of medical students will be taking advantage of free admission days at the Field Museum this weekend, to encourage people to learn CPR on-the-spot.  Medical students will also be at the Waukegan Public Library both days. The "going tag line is 'Do you have five minutes to learn how to save a life?' That typically gets people’s attention," said Ashley Cohen, a third year student at Chicago Medical School and national co-chair of TwoStep CPR.She said it's simple and you can save a life doing it.

"First, dial 911. Second, push hard and fast in the center of the chest until help arrives," Cohen said.Cohen said she knows the quick training works.

"Something great that happened last year was we had somebody who had come the first year walk by and he actually told us that he had to use the CPR," she said.Cohen said she’s taught children as young as 5-years old and adults as old as 96 to do two-step CPR.She said med students who’ve taken part in the two-step CPR events nationwide have taught 20,000 people with more people being taught in Chicago than any other location - 2,000 people.Medical students will be at the lower level entrance of the Field Museum from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and at the Waukegan Public Library from 1-5 p.m. both weekend days.
