
CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- In her first official international trip, Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot went to Toronto, Canada to meet with Mayor John Tory and participate in a symposium on Solutions for Healthy Cities.
Lightfoot’s office said she’ll attend a series of meetings with city and business leaders, and learn more about ways Chicago could address racial health equity and expand business development. Toronto is one of Chicago’s sister cities. Chicago has more than two dozen such urban siblings worldwide including Warsaw in Poland, Accra in Ghana and Shanghai in China.Meanwhile, Site Selection Magazine has named Chicago its top metropolitan area for corporate investment for the seventh consecutive year.
