CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Facing a tough primary fight, U.S. Rep. Daniel Lipinski says he's concerned about some trends in the Democratic Party.The 3rd District Congressman represents Chicago's Southwest Side and some south and southwest suburbs. He's anti-abortion and conservative on economic issues, and worries that the Democratic Party is veering far to the left.
"I'm afraid the Democratic Party is going off the, going off into a Tea Party of the left," he said.
Lipinski is the guest on "At Issue," which airs 9:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. Sunday.
