CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Madonna is performing seven shows at the Chicago Theater beginning Wednesday, but the start time may have some fans re-considering going.
The shows begin at 10:30 p.m. -- not 8:30 p.m., as some concert-goers were led to believe through TicketMaster purchases. Each performance is expected to last 2 ½ hours, so that would mean fans will be heading for the exits around 1 a.m.
It was the same late start time when Madonna’s "Madame X" tour started in New York. A New York Post reviewer wrote, “You wait until Madonna is ready.”
Fans under 18 will need a parent or guardian to accompany them in Chicago, given the lateness of the hour.
