CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- If you are looking for closure or the ultimate revenge this Valentine's Day, why not name a cockroach after your ex?

"Valentine's Day is a time when we celebrate the love we have for one another. We buy one another tokens of appreciation. We gather for intimate dinners. We look for ways to spend time together. But for some, Valentine's Day is a time when they remember, despite all efforts, those who spurned that love. Who's to say they can't celebrate Valentine's Day as well?" Brookfield Zoo said in a statement.

Well, those people can celebrate, thanks to Brookfield Zoo, which is offering people the chance to name a cockroach in honor of that un-special someone in their life.

Yes, you can actually name a Madagascar hissing cockroach after your ex, or anyone for that matter, for Valentine's Day!

For $15, you will have the satisfaction of knowing that a Madagascar hissing cockroach named after the un-special someone resides inside Hamill Family Play Zoo, and also receive a certificate of naming that you can fill out and share with your ex or hang on your wall as a reminder that a cockroach now bears their name.

And if that doesn't sound satisfying enough, the zoo will also place the person's name on the Cockroach Naming Board inside Hamill Family Play Zoo by the Madagascar hissing cockroaches (first names only). The board will be unveiled on Valentine's Day.

And if you like cockroaches, you can name one after your friend or lover, too! The zoo says to just mark that option when making your donation, so that they know to send you the right certificate.

The $15 donation goes directly to Brookfield Zoo's Annual Fund, a critical source of funding Brookfield Zoo uses wherever it is needed most. The gift allows the zoo to inspire conservation leadership by connecting people and communities with wildlife and nature, which includes cockroaches.

And as a reminder, Brookfield Zoo offers free zoo admission on weekends in February, so it is a perfect opportunity to go see the cockroaches.
