CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- President Trump is scheduled to visit Kenosha on Tuesday to talk with police leaders, despite a request from Wisconsin’s governor that he not make the trip, because it would stretch police resources. Now, police are are providing a glimpse into some of what officers were dealing with last week following unrest after the police shooting of Jacob Blake.

Kenosha police said that as of Sunday afternoon, 175 people had been arrested in Kenosha during the previous week following the police shooting of Jacob Blake.  Of those arrests, 102 were of people not from Kenosha, and came from 44 different towns and cities.

Kenosha had a 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. curfew last week, and 69 people were arrested for curfew violations, even though video indicates many more people than that were not abiding by it. Thirty-four of those alleged curfew violators were also charged with everything from carrying concealed weapons to burglary and possession of controlled substances.

More than 20 guns were seized. Three vehicles were towed and are part of criminal investigations.
