CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Pride Month, which celebrates the LGBTQ community, is wrapping up this weekend with festivals in various parts of Chicago.
One of them is the South Side Pride Fest, which is taking place outside the DuSable Museum of African-American History.
Organizers say the fest gives members of the South Side LGBTQ community an opportunity to celebrate their contributions to life on the South Side, as well as to show the world that the LGBTQ community is vibrant on the South Side.
