CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- The National Weather Service Chicago has issued a sudden thunderstorm warning for Saturday afternoon.
Strong to near thunderstorms are moving east toward Chicago with wind gusts of 45 to 65mph possible. Small hail is expected.
Strong storms are expected to hit near Montrose Harbor at about 2:50 p.m., forecasters said. Small craft are advised to move to safe harbor until the hazardous storm passes.
