Trubisky Talks Accuracy, Social Media And Nagy At Gone Rogue Chips Promo

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Bears Quarterback Mitch Trubisky hung out in Wrigleyville Saturday morning to promote Gone Rogue, a new brand of high-protein chips produced in Chicago.

He dished with WBBM's Kevin Jackman on the hot dog -- yes, hot dog -- controversy, detoxing from social media negativity, commiserating with New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones, his accuracy, coach Matt Nagy's leadership and his favorite tunes. Would you believe the Ohio native is a country fan?

Advice for Jones: "It can be tough when you feel like you're not accepted by the fan base right away.People are going to hate no matter what. The only want to win people over is to win...and doing your job. Daniel knows this. He's going to be just fine."

On backing off social media: "I'm blocking out negativity and being better with time management, not wasting time on social media and what other people are saying about me. I am a lot more focused and positive. Focus on the right people and blocking out the wrong."

About the Gone Rogue chips: "I'm excited about the product. It's an amazing snack that tastes like a chip, like jerky. You wouldn't believe it's healthy for you."

His accuracy: "I feel like I can put the ball anywhere."

Catch all the details with his conversation with Kevin Jackman.
