Police, Fire Officials Honor Hospital Workers In Aurora

AURORA (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Medical professionals on the frontline of the COVID-19 pandemic got a highly visible show of appreciation Tuesday. 

Members of the Aurora police and fire departments and the Kane County Sheriff's Office formed a caravan of emergency vehicles to drive through two Aurora hospitals to thank healthcare workers there. Several staff members at Rush Copley Hospital and AMITA Mercy stood outside to wave to officers and firefighters.
