CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Explore all things wild this summer at Lincoln Park Zoo.

Lincoln Park Zoo announced Thursday that registration is now open for Summer Conservation Camp and Zoo Crew.

For Pre-K-4th grade, Summer Conservation Camp offers campers the chance to meet zoo experts, learn all about animals, and build connections with Chicago’s natural spaces, as well as discover how to be a part of conservation efforts, the zoo wrote in a statement.

The camp offers themes from Animals on the Move to Running a Zoo 101, tailored to campers’ developmental levels. Summer Conservation Camp runs from June 8-Aug. 21 with select dates. Full-day camp for Pre-K-4th grade runs from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. and costs $350/week ($300/week for Lincoln Park Zoo members). A half-day option is also available for Pre-K and kindergarteners and families can choose between a morning and afternoon session at $175/week ($150/day for Lincoln Park Zoo members).

The two-week program runs from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. and costs $810/session ($692/session for Lincoln Park Zoo members).

Registration includes: two t-shirts, a backpack, field trips, an overnight experience at the zoo (including dinner and breakfast), and healthy snacks.

Limited spots for Spring Break Camp are still available. Join the zoo for an African Safari on select dates from April 1-10. For more information about camps, please visit lpzoo.org/camps.
