CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- The Schaumburg Boomers will be hosting drive-in fireworks shows on Fourth of July weekend and tickets are already sold out.
Tickets went on sale earlier this week for Schaumburg residents, and on Thursday for the general public. As of Friday morning, tickets for both the Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4 show are sold out.
Both shows start at 9:30 p.m. and will each last 20 minutes.
The Schaumburg Boomers sold three different ticket options for the shows, with a basic viewing admission of $20 per car allowing access to the west parking lot of the stadium.
For $120, up to six people could reserve an in-stadium dining table. The ticket includes VIP parking, a table reservation along the concourse, and all-you-can-eat hot dogs, hamburgers, fries, popcorn, and soda. Spectators with a table reservation will view fireworks from their assigned table.
For $400, up to 10 people could reserve an in-stadium luxury suite. The ticket includes two VIP parking passes, and a suite with an all-you-can-eat meal featuring hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken tenders, potato salad, popcorn, cookies, brownies, and soda. Suite guests will be able to view fireworks from their suite.
If either event is to be cancelled due to a COVID-19 related issue, a full refund will be issued.
