Showers And Thunderstorms Expected To Blanket Region Saturday Evening

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Showers and thunderstorms will be moving into the Chicago region Saturday afternoon and evening.

Forecasters are calling for rain during a 3- to 5-hour timeframe in the city and surrounding suburbs before it moves east. Light rain could fall in some spots before the downpour begins.

Expect the showers in the Chicagoland area to hit between 4 and 6 p.m., the National Weather Service Chicago said.
