(WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Hospital officials fielded an embarrassing COVID-19 question about one of its own staff members during an online town hall meeting Thursday.
Jim Skogsburgh, CEO of Advocate Aurora Health, hosted the event to answer viewers' questions about coronavirus.
But one question was about one of their nurses and what she did in Wisconsin.
The employee was interviewed by a TV news team at a bar, just hours after the Wisconsin high court overturned the governor's stay-at-home order. The nurse was not wearing a mask and downplayed the risk of infection.
Chief Aurora Advocate Nursing Officer Mary Beth Kingston said she was disappointed with the employee, who would face several questions. The health system tries to educate the staff on how to stay safe in—and out—of the hospital, Kingston said.
