CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- A person was killed and three others seriously injured Wednesday in a two-vehicle crash on the West Side.
Crews responded at about 11:55 a.m. to a crash in the 3800 block of West Lake Street, according to Chicago police.
Four adults were taken to Stroger and Mt. Sinai hospitals, and one was pronounced dead, Chicago Fire Dept. spokesman Larry Merritt said.
Merritt said the fire department responded to a pin-in crash at the intersection of Hamlin Boulevard and Lake Street.
The Cook County medical examiner's office has not released details on the death.
