CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- A baby who was delivered after her mother was fatally hit by a semi truck in River North has been pronounced dead.
Hanna Elizabeth Boshardy died about 9 a.m. Saturday, just four days after she was born, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.
Boshardy was delivered Sept. 17 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital after her mother, 29-year-old Elizabeth Boshardy, was killed by a truck near Grand Avenue and Lasalle Drive.
The Boshardy's lived in the West Town area, the medical examiner's office said.
