CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- An unidentified body was recovered Monday from the Chicago Sanitary and Ship Canal in west suburban Stickney.
The male body was found floating dead in the canal at about 7:45 a.m. near the 3900 block of South Laramie Avenue, Illinois State Police said.
There was nothing on the male’s body to identify him with, police said.
No further information was immediately available.
