Man Hit By Chicago Police Car In South Loop

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- No injuries were reported after a man was hit by a Chicago police car Monday while walking in the South Loop.

An officer on patrol was making a right turn at about 5:15 a.m. from Roosevelt Road to southbound Canal Street when the squad car hit the 30-year-old man, according to Chicago police.

Paramedics were called to the scene, but the man declined medical treatment, police said. No citations were issued.
