CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- A child and another person were seriously injured by a driver Friday evening in Belmont Central on the Northwest Side.
The driver of a vehicle hit the two pedestrians about 8:25 p.m. near the intersection of Melrose Street and Narragansett Avenue, a spokesman for the Chicago Fire Department said.
They were taken in serious condition to Lutheran General Hospital.
Chicago police have not released details about the crash.
