Pizza Delivery Drivers Robbed In Morgan Park: Police

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Police are warning delivery drivers of two armed robberies since last month in Morgan Park on the South Side.

The male suspects ordered pizza and when the driver approached them at the door, they displayed a handgun and took food, cash and property, Chicago police said in a community alert. The delivery drivers were called to vacant or abandoned houses.

The first robbery happened at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 25 in the 11300 block of South Aberdeen Street, police said. The other occurred at 8 p.m. Feb. 7 in the 1300 block of West 112th Street.
