CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Two people robbed a TCF Bank on Wednesday in northwest suburban Park Ridge.

At about 2:40 p.m., the robbers walked into the bank, 1 W. Devon Ave., and handed the teller a note demanding money, Park Ridge police said. Though they didn’t show any weapons, the note implied they were armed.

The pair made off with the money in a silver Honda SUV, which was last seen on Canfield Road, police said.

One suspect was described as a thin male wearing a tan jacket, surgical mask, fake beard and camouflage hat, police said. The other was a thin male wearing dark clothing, sunglasses and a surgical mask.

Police believe the two are also responsible for a pair of recent bank robberies in Schiller Park and Portage Park on the Northwest Side.

Anyone with information about the robberies is asked to call the FBI at 312-421-6700.
