
CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Police are warning residents about a pair of strong-arm robberies earlier this month in the South Loop.
In each case, suspects rode up to victims on bicycles and took items by force, according to a community alert from Chicago police.
The first hold-up happened about 2:20 p.m. Aug. 10 in the 200 block of West 25th Place, police said. The other occurred at 9:24 p.m. Aug. 12 in the 1800 block of South Wentworth Avenue.
The suspects were described as two 5-foot-7, 160-pound men between 25 and 30 years old, police said.
